Play xvid videos on Apple TV

It didn't take long for someone to figure out how to play xvid videos on the Apple iTV. It involves removing the hard drive, putting it in another computer and adding some files to enable ssh access. Once you have that, you can mount a NAS or inject other content into your iTV library.
